Another road collapse in Bangkok this morning.

The incident occurred at 11:40 am at Soi Sukhumvit 64/1. A truck was heading towards Bangkok when the road surface collapsed, causing the rear of the truck to partially sink. The incident significantly disrupted traffic towards the capital.

Preliminary information suggests that all three lanes of the road are damaged. Two people were injured, including a taxi driver and a courier. The likely cause of the incident is the excessive weight of the truck.

A similar incident occurred a few days earlier on Ratchaprarop Road when an SUV sank into a hole in the road that had formed after a truck had passed over it.
