Pattaya Police conducted an inspection of transgender individuals after a viral video circulated on social media.

The purpose of the inspection was to identify "transgender gangs" who were spending time on Beach Road promenade, allegedly offering sexual services to tourists.

In a video captured by a bystander, a transgender person can be seen initially pursuing a tourist and subsequently assaulting them.

The reason for the conflict remained unknown as the victim did not report the incident to the police.

During the raid, 14 individuals were detained. Transgender individuals were taken to the police station for document verification and drug testing.

According to the police report, no cases of prostitution or the use of prohibited substances were found among the transgender community.
