The accident occurred on November 5th at around 1 a.m. near the Friendship Beach Resort in Rawai.

According to surveillance camera footage, a vehicle was speeding and collided with a motorcycle carrying tourists on the road.

A 21-year-old American citizen and a 19-year-old Luxembourg citizen died at the scene, while the Russian woman sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The police have not reported whether the woman was under the influence of alcohol. An investigation is currently underway.

Within the first 90 days of visa-free travel, this is already the second accident involving Russians. A few days earlier in Pattaya, a drunk Russian man crashed into three motorbikes.

During the arrest, the man behaved aggressively and refused to take an alcohol test.
