According to the Meteorological Department (TDM), the cold season in Thailand is expected to begin in late October.

Meteorologists predict that the rainy season will end two weeks later than usual, but even after its conclusion, some regions of the country will continue to experience rainy weather.

The cold season is expected to last until the end of February 2024. The lowest temperatures are forecasted for the period from December to January.

The average minimum temperature is expected to be around 21-22 degrees Celsius, which is approximately 1.5 degrees Celsius higher than the normal 19.9 degrees. This reading is also higher than last year's (20.8 degrees).

It is anticipated that the minimum temperature in the northern and northeastern parts of Thailand will be 9-10 degrees Celsius.
